The Longford North Improvement Association hosts its annual Dumpster Day, giving residents a convenient way to dispose of household items and help keep our neighborhood looking its best. This is a great opportunity to clean out garages, basements, and storage areas while connecting with neighbors and working together to care for our community.

Prohibited Items for Disposal

The following items will not be accepted:

• Explosive or flammable materials

• Acids, caustics, pesticides, or chemicals

• Medical or radioactive waste

• Liquids or liquid waste

• Drums or tanks (unless clean and cut in half)

• Animal carcasses

• Large stumps

• Wood or logs greater than 8 inches in diameter and 6 feet in length

• Most large items that cannot be lifted manually
